It is a great time of the week for sports fans.
This has been one of the very very few times that I have cheered for the Kitchener Rangers.
They were able to even the series at 2 with the Soo Greyhounds.
And then there were 5 Toronto teams in action yesterday, however the only team of the 5 that picked up a win was the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors winning is great, but really the only game I put my full attention to yesterday was the Blue Jays.
As a Penguins fan I didn’t really care about the outcome of the Leafs game, but the excitement of baseball being back is still with me.
My father is a Red Sox fan so whenever the two teams meet is always fun to watch.
The Red Sox send Chris Sale to the mound tonight so I look forward to watching that.
But what I look forward to the most is tomorrow’s game when the Texas Rangers come to town.
I will be in attendance of the game, the second one I have gone to this season.
The rivalry with Texas is always good, although some key members will be out of the Rangers lineup.
An added bonus is I get to see my favourite pitcher, Marcus Stroman.
I’m hoping with some star players missing in the Texas lineup that Marcus can have a strong game and gain some confidence after getting off to a slow start.
I’m Zach Scribner
