Habitat For Humanity’s first home built on First Nation territory will hold a grand opening this weekend.
Habitat For Humanity Grey Bruce is inviting everyone to the completion ceremony of the 40th local habitat home.
The ceremony will take place at Neyaashiinigmiing on Saturday, February 10th at 1:00 p.m.
It will begin at the Maadookii Centre located at 125 Maadookii Crescent, followed by ribbon cutting and the house tour at 8 Chicks Road.
Visitors can meet the family and take a tour of the home.
Habitat Grey Bruce is offering a bus ride from the Owen Sound ReStore to the Dedication.

Habitat for Humanity has been in Grey Bruce since 1987.
It helps families build and buy simple, affordable homes through a no-interest mortgage.
The aim is to enable low-income families to build reduce their dependence on social assistance and break the cycle of poverty.
