With the start of a brand new school year, also comes new beginnings for many recreational and leisure type activities.
The Town of Saugeen Shores will be holding its 2017 Leisure Fall Fair at The Plex in Port Elgin Wednesday, September 6th.
It’s the place to be for anyone who wants to sign up or register for one of the many recreational programs offered by the Town of Saugeen Shores, but that’s not all.
There will quite literally be something for everyone.
With many different groups involved in this year’s fair, spokesperson Heather Lorenz says the event will cater to everyone.
New for this year, is the opening time slot for online registration.
“Online registration for all Town of Saugeen Shores programs including our swimming lessons, PA Day programs, a couple of adult programs like our adult hockey will open up at 6am on Wednesday, September 6th,” says Lisa Billing, Recreation Supervisor for the Town of Saugeen Shores.
The Leisure Fair is basically a mass registration night and it takes place in the Rotary Hall at The Plex in Port Elgin, from 6pm to 8pm.
