OWEN SOUND:
All Bruce County library branches are closed Monday.
The Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public library is also closed as well as the Hanover library and the Grey Highlands library.
The Meaford library is closed Saturday the 5th through to Tuesday the 8th.
Post Offices everywhere except Quebec are closed Monday.
There is no transit system in Owen Sound on Monday.
Bruce Peninsula Transit does not operate on holidays.
The YMCA in Owen Sound is open 7am to 3pm but program scheduling may vary.
In Hanover, the Civic Centre and the P and H Centre will both be closed.
The LCBO in Owen Sound is open Monday from 12pm until 8pm
In Sauble Beach the LCBO is open 12pm to 6 pm, in Port Elgin it’s open 12pm to 6 pm and in Hanover it’s 11 am to 8 pm.
The Heritage Place Shopping Centre in Owen Sound will open 11 am to 5 pm
The Owen Sound Twin Drive In in Springmount is open extra late Sunday for its Dusk to Dawn four movie long weekend marathon.
Shoppers Drug Mart on 10th Street West in Owen Sound is open 8am to midnight.
In Hanover it’s open 8am to 10 pm.
Rexall Drug Store in Southampton will be open from 9am to 6pm
Walmart in both Owen Sound and Port Elgin are open 7am to 10pm.
WASAGA/ORILLIA:
On this holiday Monday, there are some closures to let you know about.
All government offices, banks and the post office will not be open on this Civic Holiday.
But you will still be able to stock up your liquor cabinet and buy groceries. LCBO and beer stores are open as are many other stores.
Bus service is running normally including the Wasaga Beach to Collingwood link and the Collingwood to Blue Mountains link.
Barrie Transit is on a Sunday schedule and there is no bus service running today in Orillia.
There is regular garbage pick up today for most of Simcoe County. This does not include Orillia and Barrie.
SHELBURNE:
Municipal facilities including town halls, rec facilities, and libraries will be closed for the day.
Government offices and banks are closed, and there is no mail delivery.
There will be no curbside waste collection in Dufferin or Simcoe Counties or the Town of Caledon on Monday.
Many Beer Stores will be open, and 460 LCBO stores across the province will also be open.
Orangeville Mall, Bramalea City Centre Mall, and Vaughan Mills are among a long list of shopping centres that will be open.
Walmart in Orangeville is open 7 am to 11 pm, Giant Tiger in Shelburne will be open for shoppers 8 to 6 on Monday.
Grocery stores will also be open.
