It appears Pizza Hut isn’t giving up on Owen Sound.
The Fast food restaurant left the Scenic City in early June over a rent dispute.
The store adjacent to Heritage Place Shopping centre has been vacant ever since.
However a company official says Pizza Hut will open by mid-August in the former Powered Up location at 669 10th street west in Owen Sound.
Renovations are underway on the building and all 26 staff from the old store are expected to be hired at the new location.
