Sun Life Financial is celebrating the Grand Opening of their new location at the Owen Sound-Grey Bruce Financial Centre.
It’s at 1100 16th Avenue East, at 10th Street, in Owen Sound.
There will be drinks, door prizes, and giveaways as part of the celebration at the new facility on Tuesday.
Sun Life has been in Grey Bruce for 150 years and Financial Centre Manager, Geoff Keleher says they have put their regional office in Owen Sound because they intend to remain part of the community for a long time.
The building doubles the size of the Sun Life’s facility to about 6000 square feet. This encompasses 17 offices accommodating 18 staff.
With area satellite offices, there are about 40 representatives of the company in Grey-Bruce.
Sun Life has leased the space from Andpet Realty for 10 years though Keleher expects they will stay for at least 20 years.
The event is on Tuesday afternoon with an open house starting at 1 pm and the official ribbon cutting at 4 pm.
