A 30 year old Sauble Beach woman is charged with drug offences after a two month probe by the RCMP, the OPP and Owen Sound city police.
But that is not the end of the story, as she will be going to a hearing in Edmonton later this month, on a charge of murder and attempted murder.
In the latest case, Sarah Posthumous is charged along with another Sauble Beach resident, 35 year old Michael Kidd.
They face charges including importing and trafficking of a controlled substance, possession of meth and possession of a prohibited weapon.
RCMP say the charges are in connection with the production and distribution of steroids, through a business in Owen Sound.
Searches at a home in Sauble Beach and the Owen Sound business uncovered several kilos of steroids, some production equipment and a prohibited gun.
Police have not released the name of the Owen Sound business.
Kidd and Posthumous are both due in court Tuesday, Mar. 7th.
Meanwhile, Posthumous will be in Queens Bench court in Edmonton March 17th for a pre-trial on a charge of 1st degree murder and one of attempted murder.
She is charged in the murder of 30 year old Adrian Gregory of Ottawa and the shooting of another man near Edmonton in December of 2014.
Posthumous was arrested in 2015 along with 29 year old Shane Tym of Chilliwack, B.C.
The Sauble Beach woman has been out on $5,000 bail, before being arrested on March. 2nd.
