It’s a busy week for the Owen Sound Attack on multiple levels.
From a social standpoint, the annual ” Bears in Blue ” Celebrity Serve with the club is at Boston Pizza in Owen Sound tonight from 6-8 pm. Great fun. Great food. And a great grand prize to be announced tomorrow on CFOS.
The Celebrity Serve is the awareness raiser for the ” Bears in Blue ” game Saturday night when the Attack in their cool, one-night- only jerseys host the Mississauga Steelheads. Ya gotta see the jerseys.
Between functions, the Attack have 2 games against divisional foes.
Tomorrow night, the Western Conference leading London Knights, winners of 6 straight and 9 of 10 come to the Harry Lumley-Bayshore for a 7 pm start.
And then Friday, the Attack return to Kitchener to meet the Rangers for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.
In and around the Celebrity Serves and league games, the Attack are also attempting to alter their roster- in fact, one source relates a deal was consummated but then vetoed by a player, on one side or the other, invoking a no-trade clause.
