The OPP are investigating a sudden death on Griffith Island in Georgian Bluffs.
Provincial police in Grey County and paramedics were called to a private hunt club on the Colpoys Bay island on Wednesday afternoon at around 12 PM.
Griffith Island is only accessible via boat or plane.
Investigators say the victim, who is identified as 26-year-old Timothy Hillier of the Township of Chatsworth, died of a single gunshot wound.
A post mortem examination was conducted on Thursday in London, and police say the death is NOT considered suspicious.
Due to the circumstances surrounding Hillier’s death, the OPP say they’re not in a position to discuss details of the investigation.
