It’s not fall yet, but it is Fall Fair season in Ontario.
In Owen Sound, the Fall Fair begins on Thursday and goes until Saturday.
Highlights include the large 4H show, a quality quilt competition, the midway, a demolition derby, the truck and tractor pull, domestic exhibits, and the antique tractor pull.
The Owen Sound Fall Fair is held at Victoria Park, at 700 10th Street East.
On Friday and Saturday, the Chesley Fall Fair is on at the Chesley Community Centre on 4th Avenue Southeast.
Some of the highlights this year include, an English and western saddle horse show, 4H llama and rabbit shows, demonstrations reptiles, exotic animals, and sheep shearing, as well as a pet show and tractor pull, musical entertainment, and a silent auction.
The Dundalk District Agricultural Society is hosting the Fall Fair on Friday through until Sunday.
There is the Ambassador Competition, a dog agility show, tractor and truck pulls along with lawnmower races.
The Dundalk Fall Fair is on Main Street East, near Highway 10 and Grey Road 9.
‘Celebrating Agricultural Traditions’, the Paisley Fall Fair, is on Sunday at Riverside Park.
There is a heavy horse show, 4H beef and dairy invitational shows, and interactive games, and entertainment.
Friday through Sunday there is the Mildmay-Carrick Fall Fair at the Recreation Complex.
The Ambassador Pageant and talent night goes Friday, with a parade at 12 PM on Saturday.
There is musical entertainment, games for kids, a demo derby, and agricultural and homecraft exhibits.
