Last week, the Desboro Royals won the Grey Bruce Ladies Championship by downing the Allenford Gators in the final.
Tonight, the Owen Sound Men’s Fastball League determines their champion as the Allenford Astros meet the Keady Jets at 7 pm at Duncan McLellan Park.
Keep in mind that the Astros are undefeated, so if Keady wins at 7 tonight it will force a ” sudden-death ” rematch between the same two teams immediately following the first game.
Also tonight in Bluewater action, the Port Elgin Blue Devils host the Elmwood Smoke.
The Blue Devils lead the West Division while the Smoke are in a massive battle with the Durham Dodgers for 1st in the South.
The Bluewater League Championship Tournament is just 9 days away, set as always at Chepstow.
