The NHL Entry Draft is tonight. And while I’ll certainly be interested tonight, I think we’ll be far more interested in Owen Sound a year from now.
In Lacrosse, the Owen Sound Coldwell Banker NorthStars start their Junior B Playoff series with Orangeville tomorrow night on the road with Game 2 Sunday night at 8 back at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore.
The Junior Stars are massive underdogs here, yet I’m keen to see what transpires.
The Senior NorthStars also have a pair of games this weekend; Saturday afternoon at 4 at home against Wallaceburg and then Sunday at Brooklin.
The Wiarton Nationals and Owen Sound Junior Selects are at the prestigious Peter Hallman Memorial Fastball Tournament in St Clements.
The Chatsworth Express and Shallow Lake Sting are at the OASA Peewee Playdown in Palmerston
Plus, it’s Week 4 at Hanover Raceway tomorrow night and Week 2 at Sauble Speedway featuring the APC 100, the Lucas Oil Sportsman 100 and the Ontario Pro Challenge 30
