One of the biggest meth busts in Grey Bruce this year, has happened in Hanover.
On Saturday, Hanover Police, OPP Drug Enforcement Unit and Saugeen Shore Police wrapped up a two month drug trafficking investigation, with the arrest of three people.
Police searched homes in the 300 block of 10th Street and the 200 block of 11th Avenue in the town.
The search resulted in police seizing 516 grams of meth, a small amount of hyrdromorphone, some cocaine and Percoet tablets.
The value of the drugs is estimated to be $51,000.
Police also seized weapons, and nearly $2,900 in cash.
The weapons included pellet handguns, baseball bats and other prohibited weapons.
Hanover Police, charged three town residents with drug and weapon charges and a warrant is out for a fourth suspect.
44 year old Jason Rose is charged with possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, three counts of possession of an unauthorized weapon and possession of property obtained by crime.
40 year old Gregory Benninger is charged with possession of meth, hydromorphone, Percocet, possession of a dangerous weapon and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
40 year old Mellissa Milne is charged with possession of meth, hyrdomorphone, possession of a dangerous weapon and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
An arrest warrant is out for a 30 year old woman of no fixed address, formerly of Owen Sound on similar charges.
Rose will be in Walkerton court on Tuesday while Benninger and Milne will both appear in Walkerton court, June 1st.
