A young Wellington County woman was the victim in a fatal pedestrian crash in the Town of Minto.
The OPP say the victim is 18 year old Olivia Sinclair, who is from Minto.
At about 5 PM on Thursday, Wellington County OPP were called about a serious collision involving a tractor trailer and a pedestrian on Wellington Road 6 near the 6th Line.
Police, Guelph-Wellington Emergency Services (EMS), the Minto Fire Department and Wellington County Roads all responded to the scene.
Sinclair was pronounced dead at the scene, while the tractor trailer driver was not injured.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators continue to investigate.

Norfolk County OPP say a second crash took place in Simcoe on Thursday when an 83-year-old man backing out of a driveway collided with a 68-year-old woman.
The victims’ names have not been released.
