Hi this is Fred Wallace with ” Off the Wire “.
The Owen Sound Attack conclude a string of 4 straight road games tonight when they visit the Kitchener Rangers in an ” R & R ” matchup.
The Rangers are rolling. The Attack are reeling.
Kitchener has won 4 straight and 8 of their last 10.
By comparison, the Attack have lost 6 straight and have 2 wins in their last 10.
Of course, hockey stats, like radio ratings. can always be manipulated.
In fairness to Owen Sound, 7 of the last 8 have been on the road, and almost half of the games have been against opponents in the CHL Top 10.
Fair, but of little consolation to the Attack who may be putting the finishing touches on a couple of transactions- one which reduces numbers, the other of more significance.
And speaking of transactions, the Bearadio Broadcast on 560 CFOS will have an alteration tonight……Former Kitchener Rangers announcer Don Cameron has consented to do the play by play of tonight’s game at the Memorial Auditorium.
Kitchener tonight, then home to Sudbury and Peterborough Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
I’m Fred Wallace
