Hi, this is Fred Wallace with ” Off the Wire “, brought to you by Auto Logic, the Logical Choice.
The Owen Sound Attack host the Guelph Storm tonight in Ontario Hockey League play at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore.
The Attack come into the game on the whoosh of a 4-3 overtime victory Sunday afternoon against the Windsor Spitfires.
Of course an overtime game for the Attack is a regular occurrence with 5 of their 10 starts on the season going beyond regulation.
The game winner Sunday came from a somewhat unlikely source; Jarett Meyer. But that too sums up the early going for the Attack.
Owen Sound is off to a far better start than I anticipated, and yet, they’ll tell you, and I’d agree, their start should have been better.
Meanwhile, the Storm come into the game tonight on the heels of a 2-0 shutout loss Sunday night at home to Kitchener.
Of course, being shutout is a regular occurrence for the Storm on the season, as they’ve been blanked 4 times in 9 games to launch the year.
Curiously, Guelph has just 3 points this year….all of them garnered against the Attack.
So what happens tonight ?
Overtime ?
Shutout ?
Tight game ? Blow Out ?
Who knows…..?
All I know is Game time tonight is 7 pm in Owen Sound.
I’m Fred Wallace
