The 11th annual Apple Harvest Festival is being held in the Town of the Blue Mountains this long-weekend.
It’s an annual Thanksgiving event in three locations, including the Village at Blue Mountain Resort and the communities of Clarksburg and Thornbury.
The festival began on Saturday and continues until holiday Monday.
The Apple Harvest Festival is recognized as one of the top 100 festivals in Ontario.
Don’t miss out on the Turkey Tent Event, known by locals as the place to go when restocking ski/snowboard gear for the upcoming season.
There’s also day long scavenger hunts, live entertainment, activities for the kids and fireworks on Saturday night.
Believe it or not, Grey County has the largest concentrated apple growing region in the entire country.
