It’s the long holiday weekend and there’s all kinds of sports and recreational activities on the go.
At Sauble Speedway, ” Sauble Speedweek ” concludes with back to back auto racing cards Saturday and Sunday night featuring both the Can Am Midgets and the APC Open Late Models.
Personally, I’m going with the ponies and the annual ” Dream of Glory ” Final at Hanover Raceway tomorrow night.
” Hemi Seelster ” is the obvious favorite for the 2015 signature event at the track after lowering the track record last Saturday.
Trainer John Bax and driver Steve Byron have been to the winner’s circle before in this event, and the expectation is they’ll do likewise tomorrow.
But ” Hemi Seelster ” will have to be in top form, especially with a $ 75,000 purse on the line, and 7 other horses in the field.
If not ” Hemi Seelster ” then ” Kadabracsnewrecruit ” might be a shrewd selection.
Keep in mind a special post time for Dream of Glory night is 6:15 pm.
