Wasaga Beach Councillors will continue to talk about the future of the main end at a meeting on Tuesday.
The Committee of the Whole will consider awarding the Request For Proposals to run the Dardanella Beach Bar to Enzo Grossi for the 2015 season, beginning on June 22nd and running until September 30th.
This would be subject to a lease being negotiated between the town and Grossi, including what is described as an improved lease rate.
Wasaga Beach has already leased Bananas Beach Club and the Copa Cabana to Grossi.
Earlier this year, the Town bought several beachfront properties, including the three bars, for $13.8-millions.
Committee of the Whole will consider recommending to full Council that it request the Chief Administrative Officer develop a multi-year building repair plan for the buildings at the main beach the Town purchased.
A notice of motion is on the agenda to recommend that Council ask staff to look at the feasibility of adding lands in the Beach Area 1 and 2 vicinity to the list of sites for a potential casino.
The motion is unlikely to be voted on at Tuesday’s meeting.
