Zac Coulter who played Minor Hockey in Owen Sound and for the Highlanders ” AAA ” organization has established Top Corner Training Shooting & Skills in the city.
The gem in Coulter’s concept is a large synthetic ice pad that allows participants to get the experience, training and physical benefits of skating year round, without being in an arena year round.
Having drifted to the south, Coulter saw first hand a similar operation while playing for the Elmira Sugar Kings and taking post secondary business courses at University.
Combining the two streams of his life, athletics and academics, Coulter very quickly found himself with a business that meshes almost all of his passions; skating, hockey, coaching, teaching, fitness training & business.
In a roundabout way, an Owen Sounder has returned to the city with a new sports and business operation; Top Corner Training Shooting & Skills, 4th Avenue East in the old Strathcona School in Owen Sound
