Hi this is Fred Wallace with Off the Wire…brought to you by Auto Logic, the LOGICAL Choice.
It’s the long holiday weekend, with a number of sporting options on the go both here and beyond.
The auto racing crowd can get back to back nights of action; tonight at Full Throttle and then tomorrow night with the season opener at Sauble Speedway
The Full Throttle card tonight at Varney features 6 divisions of cars including the Winged Modified.
Meanwhile, Saturday at Sauble Speedway, be watching for Bayshore Broadcasting and a variety of activities on the night
The Ontario Hockey League Final continues and might conclude tonight in Oshawa.
The Generals lead the Erie Otters 3 games to 1 in a what’s been a funny series; air tight and almost boring at times, yet sloppy and highly entertaining during other stretches
The NHL Final Four also starts this weekend; Tampa Bay & the Rangers tomorrow, Chicago & Anaheim on Sunday.
I say Rangers & Hawks to the Final.
A little closer to home, the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks wrap their season with their year end awards tonight at Lakeshore Recreation
We mentioned yesterday, there’s a lacrosse doubleheader tomorrow in Owen Sound
The Senior NorthStars host Brooklin in their home opener tomorrow afternoon at 2 pm
The Garb & Gear-Coldwell Banker Junior Stars play Saturday night at 7 when they entertain Point Edward.
I’ll see you tonight at Larry Miller’s function, tomorrow at lacrosse or somewhere along the road.
Have a great long weekend.
I’m Fred Wallace
