The good folks at the Las Vegas Tourism Bureau really don’t me to do an elaborate sales pitch for them.
But if they did ask, I’d say, based on recent experience with Puppy White Tours, you really can’t beat a junket in mid-April when the Stanley Cup Playoffs commence.
My Vegas routine for 4 straight days was the following; get up at sunrise, get some exercise before the temperature hit 90, then go to the tropical pool from 9 am til 3 pm.
At 3 pm precisely, I’d march into the Sports Book and make my wagers on the NHL Playoffs, the NBA Playoffs and Major League Baseball.
Based on the time difference, the games in the East actually start at 4 pm Vegas time, so up to my room for a 1st period nap and then watch the games until dinner at 8.
After dinner, I’d watch the end of the late games, cash the winning tickets ( some nights more than others ) and then hit the casino for Championship Craps until it was time to start the whole process again the next day.
Mid-April, 90 degrees, opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs & 24 hours of entertainment variety.
The 2016 Puppy White Tour to Vegas, a major activity for us, a minor one for Vegas Tourism, is already in the works.
