I want to talk about the Tileys today….I’m just not sure which one should go first.
If we go by age, then without question, we’ll discuss Brad Tiley first.
Coach Tiley of the Walkerton Hawks has a 3-1 lead in the Western Junior C Championship Series against the defending league champion Wingham Ironmen
Game 5 in that series, maybe the clincher in that series is tonight at 8:15 pm @ the Wescast Complex Rink, in Wingham.
However, if we go by gender, then we should discuss Shea Tiley, the goaltender for the Clarkson University Golden Knights
The ECAC Hockey Awards Banquet was held at Clarkson University over the weekend and Tiley, in her first season, earned the Goaltender of the Year and Rookie of the Year trophies.
As impressive as the father’s resume was & is, Shea Tiley had 16 wins for Clarkson which included 6 shutouts
So take your pick, pick a Tiley, Brad or Shea, and these are times of significant achievement for the family in hockey.
