Major changes are happening at Heritage Place Shopping Centre in Owen Sound.
At least four stores are closing in the next few weeks.
Bayshore Broadcasting News has learned that Toys R Us Express is closing January 26th.
Store employees were told about the closure earlier this month and claim other Express outlets in Ontario will be affected too.
No one from head office at Toys R Us returned our requests for an interview.
Footlocker is due to close in mid-February at Heritage Place.
And two other stores are scheduled to close at the end of January — Bonkers Gift Shop and Urban Kids.
Employees at all four locations confirmed the closures to Bayshore Broadcasting News this week.
Calls to Management at Heritage Place have not immediately returned.
As you may remember, almost two years ago (March 2013) Zellers closed at the mall.
It’s old storefront has remained empty sever since.
