The village of Cargill continues to reap the benefits of its Homecoming celebration.
The 2014 summer celebration held during the first weekend in August raised over $40,000 for community projects.
Thousands of current and former residents, families and friends attended the five day event that featured different activities and entertainment.
Co-Chair Steph Fortney says the successful event could not have happened without the work of dozens of volunteers.
She says “everyone involved made sure everything was looked after to the finest detail to make sure it was a smooth running and truly enjoyable event for everyone.”
Co-Chair Michelle Wilhelm says they are already planned for the 2024 Homecoming.
