The Winterhawks who host the Ripley Wolves tonight are third in the very tight North Division, just a few points back of Elora & the surprising Durham Thundercats yet just a fraction ahead of 4th place Mapleton-Minto
The Wolves come into the game tonight sitting 6th in the Division.
Game time for the Wolves & Winterhawks is 8 pm tonight at the Plex in Port Elgin
Meanwhile, the larger sporting population in North America is awaiting the weekend for the NFL Playoffs
Saturday, the Arizona Cardinals will visit the Carolina Panthers before the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Baltimore Ravens in a 1-3 AFC North matchup.
The Sunday games will pit the Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts followed by the Detroit Lions meeting the Cowboys at Dallas.
I say Panthers, Steelers, Colts and Cowboys advance.
The Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots and Denver Broncos have first round byes & will begin their playoff schedules at home the following weekend.
The Super Bowl is Sunday February 1st at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona
