Chris Bigras had a five point game to lead the Owen Sound Attack to a 6-3 victory over the Plymouth Whalers in the OHL on Wednesday.
Bigras finished with two goals and three assists.
The Whalers led 1-0 after one period on a wicked snap shot by Will Bitten, who finished with a three point night for the Whalers.
Owen Sound would snatch the lead in the second period on three consecutive two-man advantage goals
Petrus Palmu, Kyle Platzer and Bigras all scored with a two man advantage in a span of 103 seconds to stake the Attack to a 3-1 lead after two periods.
In the third period, Jaden Lindo, Bigras on a power play and Daniel Milne scored for the Attack.
Matt Mistele and Mitch Jones scored for the Whalers in the third.
The win for Owen Sound snapped a two game losing streak, both in shootouts, and at the same time extended their points streak to five consecutive games
The Attack will be at St, Catharines on Thursday night to face the Niagara IceDogs
