The bomb threat that closed roads south of Owen Sound on Tuesday afternoon turned out to be false.
Grey County OPP were called at about 3:30 PM after the Petro Canada station at Rockford on Highway 6 and 10 south of the Scenic City received a threat by phone.
The OPP closed Grey Road 18 from Concession 3 to Concession 10 and Highway 6 and 10 from Story Book Park road to Grey Road 16 near Chatsworth while they investigated.
They also evacuated some nearby homes.
Police searched the gas station and surrounding area but found no bomb.
The roads were re-opened shortly after 6 PM.
Grey County OPP continue to investigate the incident.
