It’s a busy week with unique functions ahead in Chesley, Mount Forest & at Collingwood
At Chesley today & in Mount Forest tomorrow, the Grey Cup will be on display at the Robert’s Farm Equipment locations in those communities.
Today, the Grey Cup is at Robert’s in Chesley & then tomorrow from noon-2 pm it will be in Mount Forest.
In both cases, there will be a charity barbeque at Robert’s with all proceeds going to either the Bluewater or the Upper Grand School Board Nutrition Programs.
Meanwhile, the 20th bi-annual Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame Induction Night will be staged on Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #63.
The 2012-13 Legion Vets Midget Blackhawks Hockey Club will be placed on the ” Wall of Fame “, plus Dave Chandler, Robert Morrill, Paul Shaw & Larry Sinclair will be inducted for their athletic performances or for their roles in building sports in Collingwood.
None of this takes place in Grey County, but in Bruce, Wellington & Simcoe, there’s three unique happenings ahead this week.
