A mid-week, mid-Summer tradition continues tonight at Sauble Speedway with the annual Dash For Cash.
Drivers from Sauble & beyond will compete in a variety of divisions with somewhere in the neighbourhood of $ 15,000 in purse money up for grabs through the evening..
The Dash for Cash concept is a break from the traditional racing program at Sauble Speedway in that no points are on the line.
In a nutshell, it’s a one night showdown where a driver can race hard in their heat, earn a position in the starting grid for the Dash and then drive their hardest to garner cash.
This is a sprint, not a season long marathon.
Furthermore, the mystique of the Dash for Cash is heightened by the potential of drivers from other tracks combining vacation with racing and simply showing up to compete on the card.
Race time for the first contest tonight is 7 pm for the annual Dash for Cash at Sauble Speedway
