Today I want to talk about the Attack.
Not the OHL Attack who were shafted by the refs last night at Barrie last night, head to Guelph tonight and then, for good measure, host London on Saturday night.
Rather, I’d like to remind local hockey fans of the Junior Attack from Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group who have two big OMHA series on the go.
First, the Gaviller & Company Bantam Attack host the Amherstburg Stars tonight in Game 3 of their OMHA ” A ” Bantam semifinal.
Game time is 7 pm at the JD McArthur Arena.
Owen Sound trails the best of 5; 2-0 after dropping the first two games on the road and obviously must win tonight in order to force game 4 tomorrow at noon.
Meanwhile, the Crescent Club Midget Attack got the split at Amherstburg on the weekend and come home with a chance to seal it.
Game 3 in the best of 5 is tonight at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore following the Bantam game and then Game 4 for the Crescent Club & Stars is Saturday afternoon at 1:30.
Whoever sweeps in Owen Sound advances. If the Midget Attack & Stars split in Owen Sound, they go back to Amherstburg for Game 5 on Sunday.
