It’s Make-up night in Owen Sound.
And by ‘ make-up ” night, I’m not suggested cosmetics, And I’m definitely not suggesting mending hurt feelings.
The Attack & Barrie Colts meet again tonight for the second time in 5 days.
And the last time they faced each other, they did everything in their power to physically crush each other- broken noses and missing bodies were the order of the day,.
So tonight is the rematch for the Colts and Attack and the expectation in some circles is that this will be a throw-down game, maybe even a throwback game to the days of the late 90’s when Barrie & Owen Sound went to war on a regular basis.
Interestingly enough, following last Wednesday’s 5-1 Attack victory, I ran into Attack Skills coach Nathan Perrott, whose skills were most notable when the going got rough.
He was asked if the pending rematch would be a rumble.
Perrott shrugged and quickly stated, ” probably not “.
We’ll see.
