Last Friday at Walkerton, the Hawks defeated the Kincardine Bulldogs 7-4 in the Western Junior C Hockey League.
Tonight, again, the Bulldogs will be in Walkerton for an 8:20 start.
Then, on Sunday afternoon at 4 pm, the Bulldogs will host Walkerton at the Davidson Centre.
And in between this sequence of head to heads, selected members of the Hawks and Bulldogs will be teammates tomorrow.
The Bulldogs organization is hosting the annual Junior C All Star & Prospects games against their counterparts from the Georgian MidOntario Junior C League.
As a result, the Hawks & Bulldogs who can’t shake each other in the last two weeks, will, for a couple of hours be teammates in two meaningful games.
The All Star Game in particular carries a lot of weight as the winning team will garner home ice advantage for their league when the Ontario Junior C Quarterfinals commence in the Spring.
The Prospects Game is at 5 pm Saturday, followed by a 7:30 start for the All Star Game at the Davidson Centre and of note, one price gets you two games.
