The OPP Golden Helmets are coming to the 17th annual Scarecrow Invasion in Meaford.
Lise Grenier, who is the Helmet’s Ridemaster, is eager to entertain the fair-goers.
The Golden Helmets have 14 Harley Davidson Police Motorcycles — and the officers will show off their precision riding skills in different 30 minute shows.
This is the team’s third time coming to Meaford for the Scarecrow Invasion and Grenier loves the town’s spirit.
The OPP Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Team was formed in 1963, so the group is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Grenier tells Bayshore Broadcasting News they are proud of the years spent entertaining people all over Ontario.
The OPP Golden Helmets’ Pre-Parade Entertainment begins at 5 PM on October 4th. The parade starts at 6 PM.
