On the pitch in the Premier Division of the York Region Soccer League, Owen Sound Grey Motors United were home to Orillia SC at the Kiwanis Soccer Complex on Thursday.
The game, which featured numerous cards for both sides, ended in a 2-2 draw.
Scoring for Owen Sound was Oliver Clark and Brandon Twinning.
Grey Motors again fielded a call-up player as they deal with a short bench as players leave for post secondary studies.
Call-up U16 star Ryan Bearg played well for United with a couple of chances in the box in limited time.
Head Coach Rob Blundell says United are happy giving the younger players in Owen Sound a look.
He says it bodes well for future years.
Blundell says Owen Sound left crucial points on the table against a beatable SC side that played without a number of key players.
He says they must get a win in Alliston and says he would love to have a full side when they play in what appears to be a showdown game for second place.
