The 12th annual Holstein Rodeo — the largest rodeo in Ontario — is now underway!
Thousands of people attended the rodeo show and concert on Friday night.
The rodeo shows on Saturday and Sunday are scheduled for 2 PM to 4:30 PM.
10 world champions will be competing in the rodeos throughout the weekend.
Events Coordinator Pat Morrison tells Bayshore Broadcasting News they’re expecting more than 25-thousand people to attend.
Morrison says they’ve broadened their advertising campaign this year to target people in the Niagara area, and it’s paying off.
She says events are filling up fast.
Other events include sheep shearing and farrier competitions, plus a variety of musical acts during the evenings, including Jason Blaine, High Valley and Colin Amey.
Tickets are still available.
