New Era Motocross Cup Series round 3 & 4
The final 2 rounds of the Motopark Cup take place Canada day weekend June 29 & 30.
More than just a Motocross Race, the weekend will include a number of activities. Fort Moto Paintball will hold Motoparks annual Canada Day Paintball Tournament at 7 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday night. $25 gets you all the equipment and 200 balls. Other weekend activities include the introduction of Motoparks new indoor BMX Park with lanes for both Pro riders and beginners. This weekend is designated a Motocross of Nations fundraiser. There are lots of ways you can support Team Canada at this years event. The newly formed Legends of Canadian Motocross will have a special presentation honouring those who helped develop the sport to what it is today. The presentation will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. followed by Motoparks spectacular Canada Day Fireworks display.
Practice hours the week of June 24 are Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pre race practice Friday is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the main track and until 2 p.m. on the mini track. No Motorcycles are to be running outside those hours.
Early registration will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Race Day Services Trailer, located at the finish line in front of the restaurant area. Entry fees per day $30 for first class $25 second class, $20 for a third class. Sign in Sunday starts in the same area at 7 a.m. Admission and camping prices are below. All Motoparks serviced sites and Hotel rooms are booked this weekend. You can pre-register at www.motoregistry.ca.
The main gate is staffed 24 hours. No one will be allowed into the main pit area between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Vehicles arriving during those hours will be staged in the overflow area. Please shut generators off at 11 p.m. Security will also be on duty. Should you have any concerns overnight please report to the main gate.
No pit bikes are allowed at Motopark on race days. Golf Karts are to be driven by licenced adults only. Race bikes may be driven to the starting line. First gear only.
There will be a Vendor area in front of the main building throughout the weekend. The Off Road Caf will be open serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a great new menu featuring pasta, soups, salads, chicken strips as well as a steak or chicken dinner ($15 tax in) Saturday evening. All in addition to Motoparks usual great burger, dog and fry choices and of course, the breakfast of Moto Champions, Moto Muffins. No need to stock the fridge when you come to Motopark.
