The longest day of the year brings us a long weekend of fastball in Kitchener.
The ISC Eastern Canadian Qualifiers goes this weekend and in the Junior Division, three of the 8 entrants are from our region.
The Wiarton Red Devils will play at the Hallman Ball Yard this weekend in a pool with Caledonia, Stratford and Tavistock.
Meanwhile, the Keady Jets and Owen Sound Selects will compete at Budd Park and actually face each other tomorrow afternoon.
As a highlight to the tournament, there will be a Legends Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony tomorrow afternoon where both Bill Simpson and Brad Underwood will be honoured.
And as big as this weekend is for the Red Devils. Jets and Selects, next weekend might be bigger when the Selects host the Ontario Junior Championship at Duncan McLellan Park.
