The Canadian Lacrosse League announced its Players of The Week today with Toronto Shooting Stars Mack OBrien winning the Transition Player of the week with all three of his goals coming on the run in an 11-10 loss to the Durham TurfDogs.
The TurfDogs goalie John Chesebrough was Defensive player of the week for his 39 saves (many spectacular) in the win.
Wayne Vanevery of the Ohsweken Demons captured the Offensive Player of the week for his 6 goals and 2 assists in an opening day18-15 win over the Iroquois Ironmen.
