A 21 year old Culross Township man is dead, following an industrial accident near Lucknow.
It happened at about 10:30 AM on Thursday at a site on Lockhart Street in Kinloss Township, where workers from McGlynn Lumber were working.
South Bruce OPP, the Lucknow Fire Department and Bruce County EMS all responded to the call and found a man had been hit by a falling tree.
The investigation shows that logs were being pulled from the bush when a standing tree was hit by the load.
The victim, 21 year old Michael McGlynn, wasnt able to avoid the falling tree.
He died of his injuries.
Michael McGlynn was the oldest son of Bernie and Doreen McGlynn, the owners of the lumber yard near Mildmay.
Michael graduated about two years ago from a forestry Management program and spent most of his years working around the Lumber yard started by his grandfather Jerry McGlynn in 1964.
An inspector with the Ministry of Labour is assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
