The brand new Chesley Medical Clinic will officially open its doors Saturday..
Fundraising Co-Chair Clarke Birchard says it’s been five years full of planning and hard work.
The old facility has been fully renovated, and an additional 8,500 square feet has been added, which Birchard says makes it a whole new facility.
Birchard says they haven’t yet reached their $1.4-million fundraising goal, but they have collected over a million and the fundraising continues.
He says the community of Chesley should be very proud of this accomplishment.
The Chesley Medical Clinic will house the six doctors and the Family Health Team all under one roof.
There will be an open house from 1 PM to 3 PM.
The official ribbon-cutting takes place at 2 PM, and local dignitaries as well as Bruce-Grey-Owen-Sound MPP Bill Walker will be on hand to speak.
