The Paisley Agricultural Society is hosting the 156th Fall Fair this weekend.
It is a non-profit organization run by volunteers, and the Fair consists of competitions for all ages in baking, preserves, quilts, crafts, fruits and vegetables.
There are also childrens competitions for pets and decorated bicycles.
As well, there are 4-H shows in beef, dairy and saddle horses and an extensive draft horse show covering several breeds.
The agricultural focus of the fair is also an opportunity for our urban families to connect with rural living.
The Paisley Fall Fair runs Sunday (Sept. 9th) from 9am until 6pm at Riverside park.
Homemade pies are at the food booth along with homemade French fries, and the BBQ Beef Supper starts at 5:15 pm on Sunday.
Tickets are available at the fair.
