First Round leader Ron Pearson from Kitchener now sits fourth at plus 2.
Brampton’s Dave Bunker overtook the lead and sits at -3 heading into the final round today.
Locally, Chris Frook from Legacy Ridge is still in the mix as he now sits at tied for 15th with 5 other golfers at plus 8.
Owen Sound’s Steve Irving is tied for 32nd at plus 12 while Andy Holba from Blue Mountain G & CC and Michael Jackson from the Georgian Bay Golf Club sit tied at 48th, at plus 15.
The 2012 champion is set to be crowned following play today.
The Investors Group Ontario Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship serves as a qualifier for the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship, set to take place September 4-7 at Point Grey Golf and Country Club in Vancouver, BC.
