Fire crews in Wasaga Beach are waiting for more information about the cause of a fire that destroyed a house on Oxbow Park Road early Sunday morning.
The Fire Marshall’s office has been to the scene and has taken samples, but has not yet determined the cause of the 200-thousand dollar blaze.
The fire on Oxbow Park Road came less than an hour before another blaze, at a trailer park near Stonebridge Boulevard and Main Street.
Fire Chief Mike McWilliam says the fire started in a trailer and spread through a fence to a building on the adjacent property.
McWilliam says the fire in the trailer was the result of a cooking accident.
Everyone in the trailer and in two apartments in the second building managed to get out safely. However, the trailer was destroyed and the building next to it was heavily damaged.
