The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are the 2011-12 WOAA Senior AA Hockey champions
Ryan Dudgeon had the game winner in overtime for the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks who repeated as Champions with a 6-5 victory over Tavistock.
Dudgeon’s marker helped the Winterhawks eliminate the Royals in four straight games.
Nick Quaid tied it up for the Hawks with about four minutes remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime.
Brent MacDermid, Derek Skinner, Greg Virgo and Dudgeon also scored for the Winterhawks.
The Hawks went “16 and 0” in the playoffs and finished with only one loss in 40 regular season games.
