Here we are, Thanksgiving Weekend, and functions of every description on the go.
Of course on the high school front it’s Friday Night Lights tonight, this year at OSCVI as the Falcons host the West Hill Raiders for the Whalley Cup in Bluewater Football.
The Junior game kicks off at 6, followed by the Whalley Cup-league game between the Falcons & Raiders at 7 pm.
In the Ontario Hockey League, the Owen Sound Attack are in Erie for games tonight and tomorrow night against the Otters.
It’s far to early to call the games crucial, but as we said yesterday, there’s a major opportunity for the Attack to really squeeze the Otters and potentially Saginaw this weekend.
Finally, the Owen Sound lacrosse ” Get Together ” function is tomorrow at Harvey’s Billiards from 2 until 4 pm.
Just a quick reminder, this event is ” come & go ” and is for everyone inside and outside of Owen Sound, newcomer or lifer, and is open to players, coaches, managers, referees and supporters from Minor Lacrosse through Masters.
We live in Owen Sound and Grey & Bruce at large, which means for the final long holiday weekend of the season, there are a trillion events on the go.
