With every passing day, we’re getting closer to opening a significant addition to the city of Owen Sound, an addition I firmly believe will serve the city very well for a long, long time
The Regional Rec Complex has been building upwards day after day, and with it ,a growing sense of anticipation has also been building in the city and region.
As part of the local fundraising commitment, there’s a big hockey game scheduled for the Harry Lumley-Bayshore on Saturday September 17th- the All Stars against the Conservative All Stars.
Among the highlights of the night will be the draw for the ” Air Canada Fly Anywhere Promotion “, which opens up as many travel possibilities as there are potential uses for the venue.

I truly hope you’ll support this initiative in every regard.
By simply closing your eyes, it’s not hard to envision years of recreation, sport and social activities, for the young & the young at heart, all staged under one roof, albeit, a very big roof.
Fitness, swimming, hockey, figure skating, Ringette, lacrosse, and if you close your eyes hard enough, you can likely create a dozen more scenarios for functions at the new Regional Rec Complex in Owen Sound.
