A former worker at Murphy’s Valu Mart in Walkerton has been charged with stealing over five thousand dollars from her employer.
32 year old Melissa Schnurr of Walkerton was the bookkeeper at the grocery store — and she has been charged with theft and breach of trust.
South Bruce OPP were first alerted to the theft on May 13th.
After an investigation by the OPP Crime Unit, Schnurr was charged last week with stealing over five thousand dollars.
Police will not release the actual dollar amount.
She is scheduled to appear in court on October 24th.
