A Huron county man who was diving at Tobermory has been pronounced dead, after being pulled from the waters of Lake Huron.
Bruce Peninsula OPP say the 49 year old man was taken out of the Lake around 3 PM on Sunday.
He had been out on a commercial diving boat in Fathom Five National Marine Park, and was diving at the wreck of “The King” when the incident occurred.
OPP say the man was brought back to shore and he was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem will be done tomorrow to determine the exact cause of death.
Assisting with the investigation were the Canadian Coast Guard and Fathom Five National Marine Park personnel.
The Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Recovery Team will also be investigating.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
