Boy we’re really hitting the overlaps, aren’t we ?
All the Bluewater High Schools are having their year end athletic awards and it’s interesting to see the names of performers who have been prominent for their school and beyond over the course of the last school term.
Last Saturday, I spent an enjoyable day watching the Summer Spectacular for the Owen Sound Satellites Gymnastics squad.
Understand, I know NOTHING about gymnastics, but I do know the speed and power the elite club members generate for their various routines is truly impressive.
Fastball season is about to hit overdrive, and we will continue to remind you that there’s 3 significant tournaments ahead;
-Ontario Junior Championship in Owen Sound over Canada Day Weekend
-Ontario Midget Championship July 23rd & 24th at Bluewater Park in Wiarton
– & then back to Duncan McLellan Park for the Canadian Men’s Championship Tournament beginning August 28th.
Did I mention racing continues at Hanover Raceway tonight, or the York Region Soccer League regular season and Traginitis Cup are well underway, or….
Well, some activities are nicely wrapping up, others are in flight and are approaching their climax
